For the past 21 years, Mr. Chanana has been instrumental in expanding the Distributed Energy Business at Jakson. He has strengthened Jakson’s partnership with Cummins, introducing state-of-the-art genset technology, and established the solar rooftop and battery energy storage solutions business verticals. Under his leadership, the vertical has emerged as a leading player in the industry, consistently setting new benchmarks for excellence.
With a proven track record in sales, marketing, and client relationships, Manish Kumar plays a vital role as the CMO of Distributed Energy at Jakson. Leading the New Energies portfolio, he is responsible for driving growth in Solar Rooftop Solutions, Battery Energy Storage Systems & Defence Power Solutions. Mr. Manish brings over 30 years of experience to the table, demonstrating his expertise in revenue generation, R&D, and client relationship management. Throughout his 20 years’ tenure at Jakson, he has showcased his strong leadership skills and ability to foster teamwork. Previously, Manish has held various roles within the company, including DG projects, Supply Chain, and Business Controls, further contributing to his comprehensive understanding of the organization's operations.

Having Engineering degree in Mechanical with Automobile specialisation coupled with a prestigious MDP certification from IIM Ahmedabad leads to his commitment to professional growth. Throughout his career, Mr. Ray has consistently showcased proficiency in strategic planning, team leadership, change management and process optimization, distinguishing himself with a legacy of excellence and achievement.
